In april 2008 I started this journey in Kyrgystan. After that I cycled across Kazkhstan and the russian Altai from where entered Mongolia. After 2 1/2 month there, I flew to Tokyo (missing a chinese visa) from Ulaan Baatar. My trip across Japan I have started up north in Hokkaido and Cycled as far as Fukuoka on Kyushu. By ferry I went to Busan in South Korea from where I cycled to Seoul. From Seoul I took a flight to Hanoi. After the north of Vietnam I passed throuth southern Laos and then crossed to Cambodia. After a quick visit to Thailand, I came back to Laos from where I crossed into China. In the following month I cycled all across Eastern Tibet until I finally left the continent for Australia. Starting in Darwin I followed the west coast to Melbournea nd Sydney. Currently I am on the way to the center.

Been on the road for 830 days...

High passes is one of my absolute favourites. Have a look at:
Punta Olimpica
4890m
Peru
Very difficult dirt road passing through a fantastic scenery. Breathtaking views of giant glaciers. The most beautiful and most difficult pass of Peru. A true highlight!
