Nice tour in the Cordillera Blanca. Beautiful views! Technically easy, but experience on glacier nessecairy.

By public transport. From Huaraz by collectivo to Yungay. From there with another collectivo to the Lag. Llaganuco and further. Get of at the first switch bank up the pass (Portachuelo Llaganuco) after the lakes.

• If you are acclimatised already, 2 days will do.
• 1st day: 3 hours to the refugio (Accomodation). Good camp with water just below the refugio.
• 2nd day: 4-7 hours to the summit

• Complete climbing equipment
• Very good map 1:50'000 from Östreichischen Alpenverein.
• Equipment can be rented in Huaraz for about 15$

• Park entrance: 20$
• Guide 75 $/day, Aspirant ca. 45 $/day
