In the last weeks I cycled through Botswana: hundreds of dead straight kilometers through bushland. The wildlife was all the more exiting though. Elephants casually walk along the highway here!
After cycling past the Matterhorn of Africa and some of the most impressive rock paintings I reached the tarred roads again after more than 2300km on dusty dirt roads just short of the Angolan border. Turning east I have now reached Tsumeb.
After the ride through the Cederberg mountains and the isolated northwest of South Africa I have now reached Namibia where I first cycled along the Fish River Canyon to Keetmanshoop.
